Search with saved data

To eliminate results of others with the same name:

1. Run a search with the "Record ID with Results" checked "yes"

2. Enter the Record ID number of the results you want excluded in the boxes above.

3. Set all other options you want such as number of records per page and whether you want the begin or exact name search.

4. Enter your name and be sure to click "yes" on the "save settings" feature.

5. Then click on the search button and your results should not include the excluded results.  The excluded record numbers along with all your other settings have been saved.

6. You can click on the "search from saved data" link or the "check your results" link on the main search page. If you return to this page again the excluded record numbers will be displayed in the input boxes.  They will not interfere with other searches and do not have to be removed.

7. The saved search data will allow you to get the results of the search by using this link - http://zinsli.com/results/optionname.asp?cookdata=yes  You can even save it as an Internet Explorer favorite or put it on your desktop as a "shortcut."

To combine all your results when they are under two different last names:

1. Enter your first name and last name in the boxes above.

2. Enter your former last name in the second last name box.

3. You can save the search setting by clicking "yes" on the save setting option before you do the search. During the search the settings are saved.

To return records for a particular race or distance:

1. To search by race name enter the race name.  The search uses the "begin with" search method so you can use the first part of a race name.  You can also combine the race name and distance criteria in your search.

2. The "distance" search also uses the "begin with" search method.  Distance, stored as a text file, usually is in this type of format - 5K, 5 miles, Half marathon, Marathon. You can use the "races in the database" page to see the different type of distances.

This page is a result of requests or comments by users. The new search criteria will allow a runner to combine all their results when the results are under two different last names. A runner who is getting results of other runners with the same name can now eliminate those individual records during the search.

This page allows you to save your search data on your computer using "cookies". This way you will not have to reenter your search data.

This page is a work in progress. Please report errors or suggestions.
